Austin Snow Day | January 1985

For some of you who have lived in Austin for quit some time, these pictures may bring back some memories. I, myself, was just a youngster but I sure do remember building snowmen, throwing snowballs in my friend's faces, and wondering how it was snowing in Austin.

Since then, there has been a couple of times in has sprinkled snow flakes, but it always melted well before lunch. Here are a couple of pictures of the 1985 snow we had here in Austin. If anybody wants to email me some more pictures you may have, I'll be happy to put them up.

Zilker Park People were bringing cardboard boxes and anything else they could think of that would side down the snowy hillside.
