SW Austin shopping center soldAustin Business Journal - March 5, 2007 Local real estate investor James Lloyd recently purchased the Cannon Crossing retail center near the intersection of MoPac Expressway and William Cannon Drive. The 13,321-square-foot neighborhood center at 6611 S. MoPac was built in 2006 and is home to tenants such as Taco Cabana, Scooter's Coffee, Wings to Go, T-Mobile and Westbank Cleaners. Lloyd purchased it for investment purposes. The purchase price was not disclosed; the property is appraised at $2.7 million, according to Travis County tax rolls. Lance Morris and Ben White with the Austin office of The Weitzman Group handled negotiations for the seller, Provident Realty Advisors, which is a limited partnership out of Dallas. Lloyd was represented by Saul Arizpe, a broker with Envision Realty. Weitzman had been responsible for leasing the center under the previous owner.
