There are four public schools in the Circle C area. Kiker Elementary is the community’s original learning facility, built in 1992. It was given an Exemplary rating by the Texas Education Agency. Nan Clayton Elementary opened its doors in 2006 and has since then received a Recognized rating by the TEA. Both facilities are located within neighborhood limits.
Clint Small Middle School is a short, 10-minute drive from Circle C and has earned a Recognized rating. The school is an Austin Independent School District GreenTech campus, offering courses in environmental studies and technology. James Bowie High School, just a short drive across the MoPac, is the largest of AISD’s High Schools.
Bowie High offers college preparatory classes, Advanced Placement courses, foreign languages, athletic programs, and much more. There are seven preschools available in the area and a number of daycare alternatives to choose from.
Inside the community lies Escarpment Village, home to restaurants, banks, dry cleaners, Starbucks, HEB grocery store, dentist’s office, and mail store.
