The Shady Hollow Neighborhood is located south Slaughter Lane in Southwest Austin, Texas. Established in 1978, it was among first planned communities in the area. Today Shady Hollow has approximately 1,400 single-family homes and many newer neighboring communities including Southland Oaks, Olympic Heights, Bauerle Ranch and Bridges At Bear Creek.
